Global Data Strategy Lead, Point2Point Global, LLC., Wilmington, MA
Leads data team on analytics strategy and implementation through advanced analytics, automation, and cross-functional collaboration to drive business growth, leveraging technical expertise. Supports key logistics and supply chain-related business functions with data-driven insights, contributing to business efficiency and optimization.
- Collects, processes and analyzes large datasets using Python R, and SQL
- Builds interactive dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, Python, and Excel to enable regional and executive-level reporting.
- Automates billing processes and develops small tools to streamline operations.
- Identifies data trends, patterns, and insights that inform cross-border initiatives and business strategy.
- Collaborates with senior leadership and C-suite executives to support decision-making with clear, actionable data narratives.
- Provides regional data analysis and insight support for APAC operations.
- Leads projects that optimize operations, reducing costs through targeted process improvements and automation.
- Mentors and guides data team members to enhance workflows, increasing productivity and enabling faster project delivery.
- Providing roadmaps and automation suggestions for various business functions such as auditing process automation.
- Develops and presents data-driven insights to stakeholders, including carrier optimization modeling, cross-border shipping strategies, vendor selection analysis (product and client- specific)
- Communicates complex analytics findings and recommendations to executive leadership and cross functional teams.
- Identifies and implements process enhancement, driving efficiency and productivity gains.
Requirements:
Position requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a closely field and 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst. Must also have 2 years of experience (which can have been gained concurrently with the primary experience requirement above) with the following:
- Developing data analytics and reporting used for strategic decision making involving logistics, supply chain management, or cross-border shipping analysis.
- Working with programming languages, including Python, and R and SQL for querying, transforming, and analyzing large datasets.
- Using Business Intelligence tools—including Power BI and Tableau—to create interactive dashboards, executive-level reports, and multilingual data visualizations.
- Communicating data driven insights and complex technical findings to cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
- Leading and coordinating key technical projects involving automation, cost analysis, or business process improvements.
Salary is $114,088 – $124,088 per year for a 40-hour work week.
